Miss Selena 

Center Director 

Miss Selena is the Director of Bensalem Childcare Center and Preschool as well as the School Nurse. She has been working with children for the past 7 years. Miss Selena has obtained a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and holds an active RN license. 

Miss Selena adores working with children and seeing their eyes light up when they discover something new. She attests that working at BCCP is the absolute best because we are teaching and shaping the future generations! Miss Selena finds it imperative to uphold great communication amongst herself, our staff, and our families to provide the best care possible for our students. She works closely with our lead teachers to provide and offer an exceptional curriculum to follow to prepare our children for their next milestones and skills.

Miss Jara is the lead Pre-K teacher here at BCCP!  

 

She has been working with children for over 10 years. Ms. Jara has nannied, completed field experience in various grades and age groups, and worked in two other preschools. She has a daughter who definitely keeps hers busy and always moving! They love to shop, play outside, and adventure to new places together.

 

She graduated from Widener University with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education!

 

Ms. Jara absolutely loves working with children and has wanted to be a teacher since she was in 1st grade. Seeing the look in a child’s eyes when they’ve learned something new in her classroom, gives her purpose and makes her feel like she is fulfilling her duty as a teacher!

 

She loves working at BCCP to provide a positive learning environment and build relationships with her co-workers, students, and their families. Ms. Jara is looking forward to a school year filled with lots of learning and new adventures! 

Miss Jara

Lead Pre-K Teacher

Miss Yamilet is the lead toddler two teacher at Bensalem Childcare Center and Preschool. She has been working with children for the past 3 years in the child care setting. Ms. Yami enjoys watching the children grow as she helps prepare them for the preschool program.  Ms. Yami loves working with children because as much as they are learning from her, she feels she is learning from them! 
 

Outside of the daycare Ms. Yami is a mother of two children. She is also a nursing assistant in the evenings at a nursing home. Miss Yamilet loves working at BCCP because of the positive environment we provide for the children.

Miss Carol is the lead teachers for toddler 1 classroom at Bensalem Childcare Center and Preschool.

She has been working  with children for 10+ years. Ms. Carol absolutely LOVES working with children they make my heart smile❤️ !

 

One of her favorite things about the kiddos is seeing their eyes light up when they her come in the room. Ms. Carol is currently at BCCP from 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday. What she loves the MOST about working here is that she get to see her students HAPPY everyday!

Miss Nanny

Afternoon Manager  

Miss Carol

Miss Nanny is the afternoon manager at BCCP. She has worked in the child care field for 30+ years. She has owned and operated her own center for 15 years. When she retired, she missed working with the kids so much, she decided to come back and work part-time. 

Lead Toddler One Teacher  

Miss Sherry is our afternoon assistant teachwer. She works mainly with the preschool children. 

 

She has worked in the PA school district for 18 years. After retiring, she missed working and helping with the children so she joined our BCCP team!

Afternoon Assistant Teacher

Miss Kylie is one of the centers afternoon workers. She works in every age group, but primarily Preschool. Ms. Kylie has been volunteering with children throughout her high school years, and this summer she became an assistant teacher in the classrooms.

 

She love working with children because it brings her joy and fulfillment to positively impact their lives and witness their growth everyday.

In the Fall of 2023 she will be attending DeSales University studying Speech Language Pathology. In her free time she loves to watch her two nephews.

 

She loves working at BCCP because it allows her to continuously learn and grow while making a positive impact on children’s lives.
