Bensalem Childcare Center and Preschool
Programs
Our center provides full-time care for children 12 weeks through 5 years of age. Our programs are split into five classrooms: Infant Program, Toddler Program, Two’s and Three’s Program, and the Preschool Program.
Breakfast at 7:30am-8:30am
Lunch at 11:15am
Afternoon snack at 2:15pm
Infant Program
In the infant room we introduce basic infant developmental materials and philosophies. Our infant room provides a warm, secure and comforting setting so your baby feels safe and happy. Our caring teachers know that these early months are important to your child’s learning skills. Each child has an individual feeding and sleeping schedule catered to their needs. Our infant program promotes floor play and activities that encourages movement, tummy time, crawling and walking. Parents supply formula, food, diapers, and wipes.
Toddler Program
The Bensalem Childcare Center toddler program offers balance between child and teacher initiated activities. Each child has the opportunity to gain practice in all areas of development on a daily basis. Toddler activities include; art, language development, large and small motor skills, sensory and discovery. These activities promote the development of basic toddler tasks, self-help skills, independence, trust, language, and motor development. Our toddlers are divided into the Toddler One's and Toddler Two's group according to age and development levels. We use the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Toddlers to guide curriculum and lesson planning decisions.
Preschool Program
Our Preschool program is designed to provide a variety of activities and experiences which will encourage your child to develop physically, socially, and intellectually. We strive to provide the needs for each child individually to the best of our ability. We encourages learning through self-discovery, and exposure to material that stimulate minds at their own developmental level.
Our preschool day has a mix of student lead, play based, and teacher directed lessons. We infuse movement throughout the day and take a child’s attentions span into consideration as well.
Our preschool is divided into the 3-year-old program and 4-5 year-old program. The 4-5 year-old program focuses on curriculum that will prepare your child for Kindergarten. We use the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Pre-Kindergarten to guide curriculum and lesson planning decisions.
